By contract, do you mean an offer letter? If you've served at least one year in a station and put in for a job posted with a waiver you should be able to go. Say should, they can always use the station needs thing. If it's before a year is up it's really up to your senior mgr. If station is fully staffed, probably. If short handed, not likely.
