TSA Goofed on Body Scanner Radiation

From the Wired article:

The Transportation Security Administration is re-analyzing the radiation levels of X-ray body scanners installed in airports nationwide, after testing produced dramatically higher-than-expected results.
The TSA, which has deployed at least 500 body scanners to at least 78 airports, said Tuesday the machines meet all safety standards and would remain in operation despite a “calculation error” in safety studies. The flawed results showed radiation levels 10 times higher than expected.

But of course they can not be accused of racial profiling.
They are on the constant lookout for that lone wolf creature as Janet demanded someone who could be a war vet, a gun collector, a Tea Party member, someone's grandmother, a child in diapers.

.....or a wheelchair-bound adult with the IQ of a 2 year old with a 6 inch plastic hammer.

Nice job TSA!

ROMULUS, Mich. (WJBK) - The Mandy family says they were on their way to the happiest place on earth (Disney), but had to go through hell to get there.
"I realize they're trying to keep people safe, but come on, does he look like a terrorist?" said Dr. David Mandy.
The family was going through security when two TSA agents singled Drew Mandy out for a special pat down. Drew is severely mentally disabled. He's 29, but his parents said he has the mental capacity of a two-year-old, which made the experience that followed at metro Detroit's McNamera Terminal that much harder to deal with.

Actually it was the local Fox affiliate in Detroit so I'm not sure that counts. More's link is direct from FoxNews but I posted the local story because it also had embedded video with it.

It really wasn't "the rest of the story".

Were they successful in taking over the aircraft with the spare 6" plastic hammer?

(NaturalNews) In a new twist to the TSA saga to which we can only say, "We told ya so," the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) has obtained documents through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) that reveal TSA employees are reporting "cancer clusters" among their own employees who work near radiation body scanners. At the same time, DHS refuses to issue dosimeters to TSA employees because, obviously, those dosimeters would indicate alarming levels of radiation exposure.

Claim: TSA employees now developing cancer clusters from standing near body scanner machines
