Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.
Because they want to turn our international into poverty again. Just like in the 90's. Great job TDU, for fleecing our international for a ton of money. "Just file it under education and you can embezzle as much as you want!"
Not fleecing.......taking less from the members.

Get it right.

I was on strike in 97. $55 a week benefit? Awesome job! Why? Zero in strike funds. Now you can get 4x your dues on top of your locals benefit.
You TDU scabs are off in another direction, foreign cars, socialism, BA's making less than drivers. When are you going to take your heads out of your asses and think for yourselves? I can't believe in this great Union we have people that are so bent on hatred that they will do anything to destroy it. I petty you and you group of losers.

Dues were raised with no membership vote to get finances straightened out by Hoffa.
The same dues increase that was voted down by the members during the Carey years. Guess who pushed for a No vote on dues increase? Officials who supported Hoffa.
It's easy to balance your checkbook when you increase your income.

Wonder if there is a list of people who voted for or against the dues vote?

What qualifications does one need to vote against JR?

Funny, I got the same $55 check.

I don't remember complaining like a girl like you are though.

I do remember winning the strike.

I wonder when the last time a group of teamsters that who actually won a strike were and when did they do it?

It shouldn't have been the delegate's responsibility to vote on raising our union dues.

They should have deferred to a general membership vote.

This is why the Old Guard just need to go into retirement.

They are old.

Thought delegates voted on constitutional changes?

They vote however their boss (Hoffa) wants them to vote.

They should have voted to let their real bosses (the general membership) have the right to vote themselves, if they wanted to raise union dues.

You are one of the poster boys on BC that show almost daily the need to rid our union of every single Old Guard supporter left.

767 members, we will be voting on amendments at the March meeting that will make Business Agents an elected position rather than appointed. Very important with the corruption that's permeated the union that we do away with cronyism as much as possible. Also vote for the delegate election, you should have received your ballot, there's a an article in the IBT constitution that allows The General President to enforce any contract on the Locals, as some of our Brothers and Sisters who voted No last time are aware of. This article 12 section 6 is a breeding ground for corruption, as the VP Rome A has proven by taking bribes for bad contracts for the locals he supposedly represented. Vote for the slate that will remove that article, our next contract depends on it!

And how are you getting around Art XXll, Sec 8 of the IBT Constitution that eliminates that practice. That bylaw, if approved, will be null and void when it's sent to ANY General President for approval.
BTW ask Tim S how elected business agents worked out for him.

Wasn't it worth it for those few days of strike, to keep your union pension?

I mean, that's what we struck over.
