What I think is hypocritical are the red state warfare meat eaters who froth unending at the socialism of Obama while at the same time ignoring their own!

When American conservatives denounce Keynesianism and socialism, it is difficult not to detect a note of jealous resentment on their part. After all, since Reagan, the American right has made Keynesian fiscal policy and the socialization of American industry its own specialty. Conservatives are rhetorical libertarians but operational Keynesians, when they are not operational socialists -- military socialists.

I was just being sarcastic - to illustrate the point that no politician can be trusted, so why single out Obama for such disdain? He is the current President, I suppose.

Obama is doing EXACTLY what he said he would do with respect to Pakistan and Afganistan both during and after the 2008 campaign.

Oh, I wasn't aware of all the troops he was going to bring home 18 months after he took office actually making it home. I must have missed his promise to introduce another surge in Iraq.

With regard to Afganistan and Pakistan, as I said before. Remember? He insisted Bush took his eye off the ball, the ball being Al-Queda and Afganistan? Insisted that was the justified war. And insisted on America's right to enter Pakistan to go after terrorist if we had "actionable intelligence". So again, with respect to Pakistan and Afganistan, he is doing EXACTLY what he said he would do.

He's going after the terrorists, just as he promised he would. Bush ignored warnings about 9-11, started an unnecessary war in Iraq, and then changed the mission mid-stream after there were no WMD's or adherents of bin Laden. Imagine that, a leader that actually does what he says he's going to do.

Bush lied out his butt. Problem was, that folks like you believed him. I heard today that during the 2004 campaign that Bush would raise the terror level up every time Kerry got positive press. Now, there's an "honest" President. I hear he's still looking for the WMD's.
