Unsafe Acts/Leadership Failure

Just a reminder that every time a manager asks you to perform an Unsafe Act, it is also considered a "leadership failure". Something to keep in-mind as you document some of the ridiculous things FedEx management requests.

I can't count how many times I've been told to do something against company policy/unsafe work practices policy. Recently I was told to mate a couple loaders without guides, or well, anyone at the plane from my manager. I refused to do it and I had to have a meeting about "why he should let me work" here any more. Apparently my refusal made one of our flights late since I waited for proper guidance and personnel to arrive.
