Steve Leffin to Retire After More Than 30 Years at UPS UPS® (NYSE: UPS) today announced that Edward Rogers will become the company's new Global Director of Sustainability, effective immediately. Rogers succeeds Steve Leffin who helped create UPS's sustainability strategy and led a number of successful initiatives during his seven years guiding UPS's Sustainability group globally. During this period, the company became one of the first U.S. companies to meet the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 framework at the comprehensive level, exemplifying its leadership in reporting transparency and credibility. Rogers joined UPS in 1994. In the corporate strategy group, he led projects related to strategic planning, enterprise strategy communication, corporate development, corporate venturing, sustainability strategy and enterprise risk management. He has served in various positions across UPS, including as an industrial engineering staff manager and as the industrial engineering manager for the Gulf South district. Prior to joining UPS, Rogers served four years as a captain in the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, managing programs to modernize the defense manufacturing industry, and as an engineering management consultant. Rogers is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
