Ran into a petition online and I totally agree with it...it's time to allow drivers to have a clean goatee or beard if they want to...it won't hurt business or performance at all...feel free to sign the petition and share it

UPS have the clean shaven policy because they want all drivers to look the SAME. Thats why we have uniform guidelines and cant wear non ups issued stuff etc. It looks more professional when drivers look the same and thats something that sets up apart from fed ex

When this is what they're asking for:

What's the specific definition of a "clean" or "clean in appearance" beard anyway?

For some drivers it would be not having parts of their breakfast entangled in the fuzz

There are some drivers that don't have enough facial hair to actually make a beard
Think scoobie do. And of course that would be totally unfair to the female drivers,
some of which could probably grow one, but most would not.

I love the beard idea guys. Usually newer driver, thinks he can solve all the companies issues and that they would go out of business if he's fired. Also thinks we should be able to have beards, wear Nikes, and not wear a seatbelt.
