on Feb 19 2012I took a 50 x 60 original oil painting I painted
Packed to UPS
it was thrown over the fence when it was delivered and ripped open.
I pay ed $ 129.03 for it to be delivered . I even comment about a video I saw on the news about them throwing a package over the fence the girl send it will be signed for.
The box only weight 16 lbs
I will never use UPS again and will tell anyone i know to stay away from ups
it went from Denver co to Albuquerque

About the original thread post, the sound system probably fell off the shelf of the truck in the morning when the guy was bouncing over some rough dirt road, 30 miles out in the country, delivering a NDA letter before 10:30 to someone who won't be home til way after 6:00 pm anyway.

Was the painting damaged?????

Are you sure the box was thrown over???? I am 6'3" and could have easily lifted a 15 lb box over that gate and set it down.

Looks like a good delivery to me.

If it was thrown it wouldn't have been leaning straight up against the wall near the gate. I'm sure you have a video of the UPS guy throwing that package ??? If not your assuming and you know what happen when you assume. You pictures and your story don't add up. The ripped part of the box looks as if someone tape the box to reinforce a area that was already ripped ( the handle portion of the TV Box ) .

Duct Tape really inside and out side of the box. Have you ever seen a shipping company use Duct tape ???

Next time pull out your wallet and chisel out a couple more bucks and buy some packing tape or bring it some where to be properly packed.

The fed Ex guy would have left it laying flat on the ground closer to the house.
