ups discounts........

Help! I recently retired from UPS, and have been taking advantage of the verizon 22% discount for years. Verizon is updating my account with them, and are asking for verification of eligibility. Since my retirement check is through UPS retirement plan, and I pay taxes on that money....can I use my pension pay stub to verify? Has any other ups retiree run into this problem? thanks in advance

AT&T gives us 20% off, I believe. Also, the rental car (I prefer Avis) discounts are good, though not near as good as when I was with FedEx. Crutchfield.com gives us 10% off too.
