UPS driver helps nab four in La Jolla home invasion - Sign on San Diego
A vigilant UPS driver helped police catch a group of armed men suspected of tying up and robbing four people in the La Jolla home of well-known philanthropist and cookbook author Jeanne Jones Friday night.
Jones described the crime as “horrible" and "brutal” and thanked the UPS driver who helped nab the men.
“He waited and followed them and led police to them,” Jones said Saturday.
“Otherwise, the robbers would never have been apprehended. He’s the real hero and deserves the credit.”
