All the colleges will love him.
Nothing degrades a college educations better than having the government pay for everything.
Until you graduate , find a job and the government starts taxing you for most of your earnings .
There is a logic to this if you or your parents can afford to go to a bloated quasi-money making apparatus that rewards highly rated staff with book deals and little or no teaching while these profs write another outrageously priced book required for a course.
I like community colleges for the first two years and a smaller public college for the rest of college.
It's more about who you know within a company than which college you graduate from.
Ivy League schools are not that hard once you get in them and the main thing is relationships built while in school.

The party definitely drew the short straw with donald.
The party apparatus got what they deserved.
The other party jumped in and influenced the primary so they wouldn't have some numbnutz representing their party.

I feel as bad about this election as 2012 after Obama won a 2nd term.
USA got screwed then and again this election cycle.
This year may be worse because both of these candidates understand how to get things done while King Obama only knows how to issue Executive Orders to get anything done.

Your claims about Ivy League schools are false and while I'll agree that the relationships you make there will influence your future, a degree and a masters from there opens doors not necessarily available for other degrees. My wife has a degree and a masters from Ivy League colleges. It gets you into places you wouldn't otherwise be able to interview for

Hopefully we can stay on topic. There's plenty of other threads to talk about all the politics. Here we can talk about what we are seeing on the ground.

Good luck with me.
I'll try and stay out.
I rarely know what thread I am in.
I react to posts.

If you guys don't mind, please post what state you're in, and general area if you want to get more specific. This is part of the idea of the thread.
I'm outside Atlanta.
Very few compared to previous elections.
Trump edges in yard signs.
Bumper stickers about the same.
Barnwell for sheriff is big race here.
Black versus white.

"Trump" or "Anyone but Hillary" scrawled into the dust and grime alongside many trailers that I've seen on I 95 from Mass to Virginia and all points in between .

The one Pro Hillary bumper sticker that I saw was on the back of a car parked on the side of road with the rear end sticking slightly into the lane of travel. The broad who was driving that car apparently rode her flat rear tire to the rim .

Notice the poll so far is matching my observations. 90% displayed support for Trump. If Hillary wins, it will only be people begrudgingly giving their vote to Clinton Nov 6th because they hate Trump more. A very small portion of this country actually wants a Clinton presidency. She's here because aside from Bernie, it was the only Democrat interested (not counting the early joke candidates). The Democratic bench is non-existent. Her biggest base of support is her own demographic. Old ladies who have long waited for the opportunity to see a women president. This more than the issues she stands for.

I have not seen one single pro-Hillary yard sign on my delivery area, and its a Democrat county on the Southside of Atlanta. Not even the sleazy lawyers that had Obama signs in their yards last two elections have them. I guess nobody likes her enough to make a campaign contribution to buy one. Lots of Trump signs though.

A very small potion of the country actually wants a hillary OR donald presidency.
It is interesting you say that hillary was the only interested democrat. I don't think that's the case, I think the establishment just accepted long ago she would be the pick. As opposed to donald, who would not have had a chance of winning if there hadn't have been so many candidates spreading the vote out.

Trump beat out 15 other people not because he's the best but I think because they had too many candidates. If it had been trump vs 2-3 other people from the get go he would of never made it.

Hillary got the nomination because the only other person was a full on socialist and he might have knocked her off if it wasn't for rigging the thing.
