Customers from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok can pay their UPS driver for their goods

UPS (NYSE: UPS) announced today the expansion of collect on delivery (COD) service in Russia. Customers will be able to pay their UPS driver directly for their goods in nearly 400 cities and metropolitan areas throughout the Russian Federation.

"We’ve listened to what our customers say they need and we’re pleased to be able to extend COD service to Russia,” said Ivan Shatskikh, General Director, UPS Russia. “After a period of thorough development, COD service is now up and running, in time for the ramp-up to the peak shipping season at the end of the year.”

The COD service is available for domestic shipments. Customers can choose to pay for their goods by cash or credit card. Details on fees and service areas covered are available on www.ups.com or by telephoning the call centre on +7 (495) 961-22-11.

UPS’s new COD service in Russia can be combined with UPS Returns® service, which provides shippers with the tools for flexible inventory management and supply chain control, and Quantum View Notify® service, which allows customers to follow their shipments and receive status updates.
