    UPS Quarterly Net Falls On Charges For Aircraft, Worker Buyouts - Smart Money

    United Parcel Service Inc.'s first-quarter net income fell 14% as the package-delivery giant recorded a charge for retiring older aircraft for employee buyouts, financial results showed Wednesday.

    Does it seem odd to anyone else that this happens right in the middle of Contract negotiations? If they want to retire something, The "4 wheel drum" brake 1000 that I drive was built in 1986! Believe me, IT IS READY!
