If you go thru the upsers.com website, you can order socks thru Cintas. You do not have to call Cintas to set up and account like you used to have to do. They are also cheaper than Riverside (6.30 a pair???!!) They are still around $4-5 a pair. Make sure you don't order the ones with the new logo that are NOT embroidered on. The patch logo will fall off within a week. I think they are clearanced at Cintas site.

I don't mind paying that much a pair for socks if they last. These people make our uniforms which hold up very well for what we do in them. Last batch of socks that I got from Cintas the UPS patch fell off every one of them and there is a hole in the very end of every one of them!! I hate paying good money for a cheaply made product!

I hear you on that one. I've had socks from both companies and I haven't been impressed with either of them. However, I am very rough on socks and shoes so I might not be a good test subject for their durability. The other parts of the uni's have been just fine though the hats I got the last time didn't fit right for some reason and the logos on each of them were different sizes.

heh, i saw someone had put their "slightly used" ups socks on ebay once. Six pairs for for $10.00. He threw the scorching case of athelete's foot in for free though. Sounded like a steal

Polo shirts are no longer part of the officially recognized uniform.

The socks themselves are made by profeet, if you can figure out
how to order just brown from them, they would work. they really suck
though I put holes in them the first week of having them. the logos stay
on better after a couple trips in the dryer... I wore the crew socks with a mid-top boot, can't see the logo.

To me the fact that we have to pay for the socks is more evidence of our weak union.

Yes, but it's also more to write off on your taxes.

I know drivers who write off the socks, radios, lunch expenses, shoes & boots, how much it costs to wash their uniforms at home, to & from mileage to work.....

God love 'em when they get audited....
