    UPS spent more than $1.2M lobbying in 4Q - Yahoo

    UPS Inc., the world's largest shipping carrier, spent more than $1.2 million in the fourth quarter to lobby on issues including aviation safety, labor law reform, international mail rates and airport congestion issues, according to a recent disclosure form.

    The Atlanta-based company, also known as United Parcel Service, also lobbied on the reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration, trade issues, the company's proposed airlift agreement with DHL and other matters.
