I found out yesterday from 3 credible people including an actual LP person that it was a Manager that had to sign the authorization for LP to tow the car . They told me the managers name and it was the same person who brought me to the tow yard and payed the bill. All he had to do is tell me "hey, I screwed up man. i didn't know it was your car and came to a conclusion that it was abandoned/" It's been 7 days and no one has approached me from management or LP to apologize. I want formal letters of apology for my wife from from both LP and the manager. It's all about CYA ing and denying blame and it has even been brought up to me twice that there is a question in their minds whether the 4WD was working before the tow. Everyone told me this was gonna happen. I'm really disappointed in the manager who signed the authorization because I have a good repore ( sp? ) with him and the center manager because he is known to be a stand up guy. And I believe he is also. Known him for 15 years and he has always been right with me, OP
