UPS truck wrecks, rolls over causing gridlock - The Courier
A United Parcel Service 18-wheeler left the roadway and tore down a signal light around 4:15 a.m. Thursday, leaving a huge debris field and shutting down traffic at Interstate 45 and North Loop 336 for hours, according to police.
The driver, 54-year-old Edward Toscano, of Spring, was transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance in stable condition. UPS spokesman John Manning said Toscano was only a few months from induction into the company's Circle of Honor program, for drivers who complete 25 years without an avoidable accident.
