From what I understand the company only has to give the person their job back with all seniority and other benefits accrued while gone. Meaning if he had five years service, was gone four when he comes back he has 9 years of service. His pay and vacation accrual will be based upon the 9 years. The company can not take back the four.

I know a guy who filed a grievance with the union and was not only promoted but also got $5,000 in back pay for all the time he spent in part time waiting for the promotion. FILE FILE FILE

guess this is UPS's way of saying happy holidaze......funny thing happened this week........ apparently this guy can only "cut it" in the marines and not as a UPS driver..........he was told his number were not up to par or whatever the official call is on that one......I think that they should be allowed to take pot shots @ him on his route so he moved faster..........somebody remind me we live in the UNITED STATES...........
