If a vacation check is paid out prior to August 1st, but the vacation period after August 1st (week ending 8/6/16), should the raise be on the check?

It usually is. If not then make sure you point it out to your supervisor so they can fix it.

That is the way it is here, I always take the first full week of August off, and it is in the check, but doesn't show in the rate.
