Vacation cover pay

    I cannot find anywhere that says what the pay is for vacation cover. I won a bid to cover the customer counter for call outs and vacation. I get my pay plus overtime for a call out and no one can tell me what the rate is for scheduled cover. I did 40 hours last week and got paid my preload rate. Unless coverage pay is less than my rate, I understand that. But I'm thinking it's more.

    Pretty sure clerk pay is the same as whatever your inside building wage is here. Call your BA though it could be different where you are

    I'm not clerking. I'm covering for a 22.3 position in our customer center. I was told I have the option of coverage pay and if I did that, it would count towards full time progression, or my pay rate and over time after 5 hours doing both preload and the counter.

    Ask the people who offered it or your BA
