Is a UPSer paid for any unused vacation days if he/she decides to quit?

Edit: *Former-UPSer-to-be.
Here, unused 'vacation' is paid out upon separation because it has been 'earned'. Unused 'option' days are not paid out. This is probably covered somewhere in your contract/supplement.

Use them as if you don't work for the full year they will be prorated as to whenever you quite. For example, if you have a week of days and quite two months into the years you will only get credit for one day.

You will be paid for all earned paid-time-off upon separation and being cleared from the system.

If you were going to earn another week of vacation before an anniversary date - say, your second week at two years and quit before your seniority date, then you may or may not be entitled to that week of pay. Otherwise, all unused PTO is paid out.
