Wage Claim Grievances - general question

My local supplement says "Wage claims will only go back for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date the employer was notified of such claim". Does that mean that I have more than the normal ten days to file my claim?

My question is - wage grievances need to filed within how many days??? - in other words are all grievances within your individual local 10 working days? The reason for the confusion is: you don't get your pay advice until the end of the next week from being paid.

5 days from wrong advice, but they can go back 60 days to collect the discrepancy. The 10 days that I think you are referring to is the amount of time they get to pay greivance without penalty pay.

I think it is actually 90 days but may vary by supplement.
