wanting my own route

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I've been 6 years had my own route for a year and got bumped. Certainly won't be taking just any old route. I'm willing to wait for the right one.

Deplorable.
September of 2003. Of course, I've only bid on 2 in that time when maybe 15 have gone up. Currently waiting on one that I'm covering, but management is dragging their feet on it because they don't train their junior split drivers to do anything but cupcake routes and they constantly have staffing issues. I could call the division HR manager, but I'll bide my time and will play the game for a little while.

As a point of advice, don't just bid on any old route. You could be on it for quite a while once you get it.

Been around the block a few times
12 years and never have had a official bid route. Had a route that I ran for a couple of years but it was because I was the only one that knew it.

Perhaps they will start once the two-tier wage structure is in place.

UPS is having enough of a problem finding quality drivers these days. The problem is only going to get worse if a two-tier wage system is put in place and drivers are topping out at the same rate as 22.3 guys.

You're delusional if you think this is a good idea. But, then again, I knew that already anyway.

2 tier is the way to
go. Just like we will get 2nd tier Social Security and Medicare so the present casino dwellers can keep theirs if Paul Ryan gets in.
