Warren Buffett is one of the best investors of the past 60 years -- probably the best. We compiled Buffett's high-dividend stock picks at the end of March. We required a minimum dividend yield of 2.7%; yields were obtained from Yahoo Finance.

# 10. United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS) is a package delivery company operating worldwide. UPS recently traded at $73.96 and has a 2.8% dividend yield. UPS gained 34% during the past 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $73 billion and P/E ratio of 19.3. Buffett had $106 million invested in UPS shares.

Lower stock price, means greater dividend yield--with the recent downturn, UPS' stock is now yielding 3.3%.

That's not the great way to get the yield up.

UPS has tried to increase their yield over the last few years 2.8 or even 3.3 is still a little on the low side for a stock that does not increase in value very much. Should be 4% or higher to be be a good pick - IMO.

My selections must have paid a dividend for the last twenty years, never decreased their dividend amount, have a beta of .8 or less and have a yield of 4% or more.
