Read your supplement. Ours (Upstate NY) has language already in place for an alternate work schedule.

So do we. Just saying while its likely, I cling to the hope that it won't happen.

My supplement says. Any driver hired before july 31st 1991 Is a Monday thru Friday driver. With the option to work tuesday thru Saturday. Drivers hired after that date,company can choose what days .

We have similar language.

It's way too early to be talking about this, but I'm bored at the moment. Just noticed that Christmas Eve 2016 will fall on a Saturday. Repeat of 2011 where people were forced to work Saturday as 6th punch then used for 2-5 hours?

Yep I was forced to come in with .2 hours of work left before I hit 60.

We only work 5 days where I am. Even if you work the weekends, you get two days off.

We normally don't work 6 days but there are drivers who will work all week and then run Saturday air.

There will be a sign up sheet for extra work. Ask from the top and force from the bottom. Never a problem to find a couple high seniority drivers to come in and work an easy Saturday morning for time and a half.

In years past it usually depended on the weather. If you had some catching up to do, yes. If not, no.
These days with Amazon and such, probably.

If it helps it is usually pretty laid back. Still sucks but it's easy paced.
