Just curious, when you first retire dont you have the option to get a 1 time pay out?
What if you did that then you could work where ever you want right, even Fed ex if you wanted.

By 1 time pay out do you mean a lump sum settlement? Nope. You only have options related to whether survivor benefits for spouse are included (less per month if your spouse will get survivor benefits).

Question then. Some guys retire from feeders but come back to work as seasonal drivers. Is this allowed because the are just considered part time?
