Seriuosly, though, 2 or 4 mil Security Window film makes it substantially more diffcult to break into a car by way of a window.
I know folks in Houston, though it is not cheap.
If you were to PM me, i could provide info for Houston installers.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
UPS is not responsible to even provide parking, much less security for it.
I kept my car clean of any items to steal and did not lock the doors.
I never was broken into while others were.
UPS tends to build in the not so nicest locations.
Wouldn't of mattered in St. Louis missouri.

They were cutting out the catylic converters in vehicles for the scrap metal.

Anyone have any advise for him?

Theres not much you can do per se, but see if a manger or supervisor can talk to the city or police department directly. With a few complaints you can often get at least a few more police patrols around your area.

I kept my car clean of any items to steal

Most thefts like this are druggies looking for quick sale items. Hide everything.

Don't leave valuables in your vehicle. Seems like a no-brainer but worth mentioning

Limo tint is illegal in many states.

Who mentioned tint? Security film is a different animal.

Unless it is a police car.

Our sheriff has some Explorers with tint so dark it's opaque.

Not referring to limo tint, Security film which is still legal % just stronger than no tint, or even window tint itself.
Get all the folks who have had their cars broken into to go to the Cops as a group and ask what they will be doing to make the parking lot safer.
Cars today, people getting beaten up and robbed next.
