What goes through peoples mind when selfishness is all that matters?

Michele Duggar, the mother of 19 kids and character in a TLC reality show, miscarried her 20th child and posted a goodbye video showing the hand of the deceased child while speaking over the video.

Does selfishness really need this kind of promotion?

Do these people really need more children? They say that "they" will let GOD determine how many children they will have and no longer practice birth control.

Have you ever looked in the mirror and questioned your own selfishness? Do you lack the courage?

Think about that!

While I'll agree that these folks have a screw loose at least they're footing their own bills. I'll take the Duggars having 19 and picking up their own check over some welfare recipient kicking out one offspring while on the taxpayers dime.

What if popping out that kid was an act of GOD? Or part of a religious belief system? Shouldnt the taxpayers bear the burden of those children since the taxpayers want to support that religious belief that caused the pregnancy in the first place?

Its called living in a free society. If they are capable financially of having 19 kids than they are free to do so.

Well, to be honest, if someone lived in a very small town, and their neighbor had 19 kids, and had to hire another teacher (19 kids fill up an entire classroom afterall), and buy more school equiptment, including books and computers.
Do you thinkj it's fair the other 20-30 familes in that same town must be extra for them ?
Not only that, but also effects the health insurance rate for a company he might be working there at, where co-workers will need to make up the difference.
Might even need another doctor in that town, or even larger school bus service.

It's not just food and clothing costs, and costs towards society, too. From garbage pick-up to waste water management.

But, then again, one can only hope that once they grow up they pay their fair share on taxes, too, even though it probably wouldn't be in the same town.

What if a frog had wings.
For the purpose of paying for individual child birth it isn't considered an act of God. No, the tax payer should not bear the burden for those children nor should the tax payer pay to have the child killed.

What's up with the IF games. Hell we can set here and make up dream plays that will make any scenario a horrible nightmare.

The Duggars are a wonderful family with all kids knowing what a good work ethic is. They do many good deeds for others. They aren't on welfare, the kids are home schooled. All the older kids have travelled as missionaries to help the poor in other countries.

I do watch their show. Their kids aren't brats, with video games and phones and selfish to the hilt. The parents don't ever raise their voices but the kids are mindful of their behavior.

What's wrong with a family that says grace before meals? .....we always do. They try to live the way Jesus said we should. Anyone who thinks this family is crazy needs a self examination big time.

Every child, from conception, is a life to be recognized and celebrated. Someone needs to recognize they were here....even for just a brief moment.

Here's a 'deep' abortion joke that makes you think (compliments of Greg Gutfeld)

Knock, knock.

Who's there?

You'll never know!

The kids are home schooled.....why don't you check things out before passing yourself as the expert?

Tontitown, Arkansas has a population of 2500......I think that's more than 20 families.

They buy clothes second hand and bank the difference. Same with bikes, furniture, bunk beds, etc. Their food pantry is better organized than my whole house.

Take the tour of their home......the building of it was a special on TV. All the older kids helped build it....

Check it out...

And are you paying your fair taxes on income derived from your moonshine delivery activities?

Here is another excerpt from the citizenship guide by the Canadian Government.

In addition to kowtowing to the Queen, you have to :

Citizenship Responsibilities
In Canada, rights come with responsibilities.
These include:
• Obeying the law — One of Canada’s founding
principles is the rule of law. Individuals and
governments are regulated by laws and not by
arbitrary actions. No person or group is above
the law.
• Taking responsibility for oneself and one’s
family — Getting a job, taking care of one’s
family and working hard in keeping with one’s
abilities are important Canadian values. Work
contributes to personal dignity and self-
respect, and to Canada’s prosperity.

Obeying the law means reporting and paying taxes on your income. And as for taking responsibilty well... what kind of grade do you think you get for that category??

So, then you can make the argument that every birth of a child contributes to that scenario you painted. To go to another extreme, you can sterilize the occupants of an entire town, then there would be no expense of schools, equipment, books, computers, etc. No extra expense for all that other stuff you mentioned.

Is that what you proposing, Mister Klein??

My particular issue with the Duggars ( JIM BOB and Michele) is that without the Television show paying them, they would not be able to survive nor pay for the children respectively. A cable television channel exploits this womans "mental issue" with birthing children and pays her to avoid common sense. What has to happen? Does Michele need to lose her life trying to birth more children because "she" believes each pregnancy is determined by GOD?

How old is too old? Even dog breeders know how many times they can birth a mother B-itch before the odds of unhealthy pups becomes the norm. When will someone step up and tell Michele that GOD isnt really involved in her pregnancies?

Some of her children are having children already, maybe its time to call it a day and just be a grand mother and ask the space god to beam down some supernatural birth control?

Peace.

I believe they own their own company so they had money before the TV show. Their children pre-date the TV show. So have at it till her hoohaa falls out for all I care.

P.s. Klein, all 19 of those kids together have sucked off the Govt' teet less than you have since you left UPS so you're not in a position to cast stones.

The Duggars invested well and own several commercial buildings........and rent is paid to them. That's called income. Mr. Duggar at one time was a politician at the state capitol.
Doing the show will help pay for college.......sending 19 kids to college has got to make for some major worry!! Give the people credit for being self sufficient, humble, responsible, righteous, hardworking and committed to their faith. I don't know when all that became a bad thing!
