My "super bowl party" today consists of my wife and I and our 2 dogs.
My poor wife has a terrible case of the flu so I get to play nurse while she is coughing and sneezing and sick to her stomach and kind of geeked out on prescription cough syrup. She dozes off to sleep and then I wake her up whenever there is a funny commercial. We laugh together and then she falls asleep again. Todays "meal" consists of chicken soup, saltine crackers, and 7-up. I bought a bag of chips and some diet root beer for me, cuz thats how I like to party. And I will show up for work tomorrow to a 12 hour day because half the center will probably call in sick with a hangover. At least I wont have one. Life is good.

From what I understand , the point was to squat at the one yard line so that they could eat up the clock as much as they could and kick a field goal. I believe the Patriots let them run it in. The problem is the guy squatted in the end zone and gave the Patriots time to attempt a comeback.
I'll have to read about in the paper that comes out later today to see what exactly was going on with that play.

This was a very smart play on the part of the Patriots. There were :57 on the clock--had they stopped Bradshaw, the Giants would have kicked the field goal and by the time the Pats would have gotten the ball back there would have been 15-20 seconds left. Bradshaw was supposed to stop on the 1 yard line but football players are competitive and I am sure he wanted to score.
I wonder if the outcome would have been different had Gronkowski been healthy.

Waaah....cry me a river.....my 2 favorite teams are (1) the Raiders and (2) anybody who is playing the Patriots. Karma baby, sweet karma! It was a fumble!

Good Post! I'm tired of the stupid halftime show. 1 of my friends on FB said that Madonna was great! I told them that Madonna was Lip synching. So I don't know where she came up with Madonna was Great when It was actually FAKE!& they also also get these acts that are about 20 years past there prime. For me I think that PRINCE put on the Greatest performance when he did the halftime show. I think that it would be cool 2 go in2 each teams locker rooms to see what adjustments they need 2 make. Mind U there would probably have 2 B a 7 sec. delay for obvious reasons.
