[QUOTE="Anonymous Wuss, post: 155668"] Actually, over the past decade, the jobs being outsourced to Asia have decimated the ranks and income of the "educated", white collar American jobs more than the blue collar American jobs (which took their licks two decades ago.) I am a "blue collar" grunt package driver, yet I also hold a college degree. I also happen to be the top production driver in a center that has approximately 90 drivers (give or take a few). Believe me when I say that there is not a single person in management at my hub that is more qualified than me to direct operations on any level. Your "trickpony" character may not have the faculties to engage in neurosurgery, but neither is his supervisor, I solemnly assure you. Let's face it, double-digit IQ's are endemic at UPS all over the place -- in all capacities (IE, Management, drivers, part-timers), and it only seems to be getting worse. So, setting your self-righteous arrogant ignorance aside for a moment, I think you need to reflect upon who is truly a more indispensible employee at UPS: you (Mr. Management) or the driver? In case you can't figure it out, let me enlighten your pea-brain. IT'S THE DRIVER! UPS can run operations for a month without a single management personnel gracing the hub with his hallowed presence. All that's required is the part-time clerical support to make sure the time cards are sent to accounting. UPS is all about delivering.
