As you can see my question is in the thread title.. I found a job posting for a UPS walker here in kingston Ontario Canada so was wondering if there was a difference and maybe any job details as for starting wage and that as a walker....

Well, here in Edmonton, a walker does earn less than a driver. You'll probably earn around $13 to start with.
Your job will probably be in a mall. ( We have walkers for the West Edmonton Mall).

DS (another Canuck), he's from Ontario - he'll answer better than I can.

He'll answer better than you because, unlike you, he still works for UPS.

A walker walks. A driver drives.

A walker down south gets 9 bucks a hour.. Stay up north!

After seven consecutive increases, the Ontario minimum wage rate will remain at $10.25 per hour in 2011, the highest provincial minimum wage in Canada.
