What the latest in knee or leg warmer technology?

Cyclists who ride in cold Midwest weather are used to testing the different warmers to see if they stay up on the knees and don't slide, and if they are warm and flexible. Has anyone had success with the newer stuff as you're out walking and delivering? The number of options has become overwhelming, and I wouldn't expect warmers to work the same for walking as they do for cycling.

Unless you are on a country run, you will not spend enough time outside of the car for this to be a concern.

Ive heard wearing shorts in the winter is bad for your knees. But I have no idea about knee warming technology . You can not thank me later for my unhelpfulness .
