What would happen?

I could see them being really :censored2: with all available and qualified management (probably some not qualified) driving dispatches to make sure air and bread and butter accounts were taken care of along with a lot of blind TCD drama. Minimize the damage as much as possible, warning letter galore for the next 6 months or so.
Would not be a problem at all!
They would just run Orion and all would be roses and candy canes!

There would be no issues with ORION compliance or overallowed hours. Someone would look really good on a report.

In all reality...if that actually happened, the company would create a fake "emergency conditions" code for all the undelivered packages, to avoid having to pay a refund. There would be extra stop density the following day, so even if everybody showed up they would cut routes out. Without any labor or fuel costs for the day that everyone called in, UPS would probably wind up money ahead.
