What would you do if...

Man of Great Wisdom
Use the technology we spent billions on as intended. If a stop that usually gets 5 boxes is forecast to get 150, don't hide in the office and let the drivers and some pimply faced preload supe try to figure out what to do with the packages as the drivers are leaving. Set up each route so businesses are first (for the most part, at least the ones that care) and make sure they stay on that route. Use the resi sections to make adjustments. Pay a few more people $9.50 an hour in the morning so we don't pay 40 drivers $45 an hour to load trucks. Charge Centers exactly what an injury or an accident (crash) costs. No more of this "you just cost me $1700" when someone cracks a marker light. If you go a year without an injury or an accident you get an extra optional day. Initiate more get togethers after work. The company could even kick in for the occasional brew. We all rage at work but we all seem to enjoy the retirement parties we have and we get drivers, supes, oms, parttimers and we all get to see the human side of the workforce. Kind of like team building that many progressive companies do.
