When does ups normally hire drivers

Been a preloader for about a year now , just applied for Saturday air driver , does anyone know when does ups normally start to hire ft drivers ? (Which months in particular )

You won't be guaranteed your own route until you've cover driven for X amount of years / gain driving seniority as a cover driver. Then, you can bid on an everyday route.

Cover drivers are FT package car drivers.
