That's for sure just a guess, not being familiar with the applicable supplement.
The round numbers were suspicious.

It sounds like unused vacation with a sick day thrown in. All that stuff gets paid off the last week of December if you didn't use it. Maybe he's in a plateau year and he didn't use the vacation.

No....i'm in the OP's local. Unused days are paid out May 1st.

It sounds like unused vacation with a sick day thrown in. All that stuff gets paid off the last week of December if you didn't use it. Maybe he's in a plateau year and he didn't use the vacation.

Or he didn't even know he had it. A lot of people don't know they are entitled to the extra week.

I know we can get paid off,for sick time...anytime. Not sure about personal days?
