Now there is a real catch.
What woman in her right mind could get turned on by a man who is cheating on his wife? Especially a sick wife?

If the source:picture: is from The National Enquirer and Fox news.....it must be true:rofl:......and, if it is true, at least Dem's get caught with their pants down with women, unlike their Rep counter parts.

Hey D,

You can make fun & laugh at rags like the Enquirer & The Globe, but I've read things in there I thought were ridiculous and the very next week the major networks are reporting the exact same thing.
They have been accurate too many times to ignore them totally.

You wouldn't hear it on CBS, NBC, or ABC because they are all on vacation.

The sad part in all of this is while the politicos of Washington play "gotcha" Elizabeth Edwards is the real victim. The lady is battling cancer and now whether it's true or not, has to face this crap.

Hey, :censored2: THE ISSUES!
More wine and circus Right!

I hate spoiling a party (not really) so I'll leave ya with a bit of kid's humor as it concerns Obama.

3 Kids Fishing

Barak Obama was out jogging one morning along the
parkway when he tripped, fell over the bridge railing and
landed in the creek below.

Before the Secret Service guys could get to him, 3
kids who were fishing pulled him out of the water.
He was so grateful he offered the kids whatever they

wanted.

The first kid said, 'I want to go to Disneyland '

Barak said, 'No problem, I'll take you there on my
special Senator's airplane.'

The second kid said, 'I want a new pair of Nike Air
Jordan's shoes.'

Barak said, 'I'll get them for you and even
have Michael Jordan sign them!'

The third kid said, ' I want a motorized wheelchair with a
built in TV and stereo headset!'

Barak was a little perplexed by this and said,
'But you don't look like you're handicapped.'

The kid said, 'I will be after my dad finds out
I saved you from drownin'!'

John Edwards was caught by the National Enquirer at the Beverly Hilton Monday seeing his mistress and their infant love child. So that's it. All last year when he campaigned against premature withdrawal everybody assumed he was talking about Iraq.

Now wait, was it CNN or was it National Enquirer? Or was it CNN reporting from the National Enquirer? Have you guys not learned anything about the MSM in this country yet!

No wonder our choices are between 2 losers like Obama and McCain. The American voter has no capacity of deeper thought or anything beyond the 30 second soundbite or Fox News pop up otherwise known as "Talking Points!"

Leprachaun! Works for me!
:happy-very:

Hey More, you should watch the movie Fahrenheit 451, you'd love that society I'm sure.

I got to admit, I've bought The Star mag for it's crossword puzzles, but when it comes to people having :alien: babies thats where I draw the line.

Yep, the so called "liberal media" left behind the JV squad due to Obama's world tour, so they have to chase around the poparazzi for stories, right?

First the McCain camp calls for Obama to travel the Middle East and Europe, but then they complain he's having such a great reception and acting to presidential. He can't win with you guys know matter what.

Barack Obama in Berlin Thursday called for wealthy nations to share the wealth with poor nations and for an end to nuclear weapons. He urged the free movement of immigrants. All John McCain has to do is stay off television til November and he's in. (Argus Hamilton)

Yes, because it's well known that Americans just hate the idea of helping the poor. And getting rid of nuclear weapons? More crazy talk...

Over half of Americans (55%) rate Barack Obama’s historic speech in Berlin yesterday good or excellent: click

McCain's problem right now is that he's not getting enough coverage, he needs to be on TV not off it. If this keeps up the election is going to be over before I go to bed, and I generally go to bed pretty early.

*edit
Just read that Argus Hamilton column ( I was curious:)). I can't quite tell if he's being tongue in cheek or if he just didn't see any actual coverage of Obama's speech.

Jones, some Americans are sick of helping the poor. We are always the first nation on scene at disasters and doling out the bucks & supplies etc.

Here at home, we're sick of working hard and having people who hardly move off their butts collect bonuses from us in the form of welfare. Get a friend'n job !!

On these forums alone, when United Way is brought up, everyone seems to hate and not want to give.

I for one am now looking out for #1. These feelings come at an older age after seeing funds abused by the welfare recipients , both legal and illegal citizens. I'm tired of people expecting things to be handed to them. They weren't handed to me. You work hard all your life and people out there want to take it away from you! I'm against that.

Obama wants to up the death taxes....shoot, now you can't even share your lifetime efforts with your kids. Sick ! Sick ! Sick !

Well, I still give to United Way :happy-very:. Honestly I think most of the opposition to it comes from the way the company handles it, not because people don't want to help others. There may be a bitter minority in this country who really don't want to help those in need, but I doubt you'll win a national election by making them your core constituency. I also doubt very much that McCain shares your views on abandoning the poor in favor of "#1". For all I may disagree with him on a number of issues, he strikes me as a pretty compassionate guy.

I agree with Jones, did I say that?
Im all for helping, just not supporting.
I probably wouldnt get elected.

A friend of mine, all his life has been self supporting. Just had a kidney transplant, medication he has to take forever is 3500, per month. Is it worth it, I guess so, he says he can make it. And as far as he knows is not eligible for any help. Now if he gives up his business, and goes on disability, all is paid. Thats not the road he wants to go. He has kept his business running for 2 yrs while on dialysis 3 days a week, instead of quitting, and giving up. Now in my small world of existence, people like him, not just him coz I know him, is who I would like to see helped.

most americans have this crazy idea that the redistribution of wealth should be voluntary. :happy-very:

The good news for all you company haters is Obama redistributing our wealth may eliminate the need for a united way.:happy-very:

I want to be able to help who I want to help! Period!

A lot of folks are looking for handouts now-a-days. They feel that the rich owe them. Self pity takes over and out goes responsibility. All of a sudden the have nots feel that they deserve someone else's wealth. It is not their fault they are the way they are. Society made me this way. YOU OWE ME!
Just look at the difference between the mentality of New Orleans vs. the midwest flooding. You will see what I mean.

I cannot stomach this kind of mentality!

On Monday, I saw a homeless person with no shoe on one foot and the entire sole flapping on the other foot. My son went over to give him his shoes and the guy told him to leave him alone!

My son made a choice to help someone in need. This person didn't come over to him and tell him to give him the shoes!

We all want to help people.... but it should be our choice, not the government or UPS.

Look at Mississippi (did I spell that right? some times I do not when to stop),Alabama and all the rest of the Gulf Coast after Katrina and Rita. They moved on and started fixing things up and trying to improve what was destroyed.
Iowa, you haven't heard a gripe out of them. Good corn fed folks and I mean that as a compliment.
When you have 6th generation welfare recipients in N.O. La demanding they get funds from the Federal Govt., well what can I say.

This is an op-ed piece by Jon Voight (I didn't write it, just posting it)

VOIGHT: My concerns for America

OP-ED
We, as parents, are well aware of the importance of our teachers who teach and program our children. We also know how important it is for our children to play with good-thinking children growing up.
Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.
The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.
The Democrats have targeted young people, knowing how easy it is to bring forth whatever is needed to program their minds. I know this process well. I was caught up in the hysteria during the Vietnam era, which was brought about through Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement. The radicals of that era were successful in giving the communists power to bring forth the killing fields and slaughter 2.5 million people in Cambodia and South Vietnam. Did they stop the war, or did they bring the war to those innocent people? In the end, they turned their backs on all the horror and suffering they helped create and walked away.
Those same leaders who were in the streets in the '60s are very powerful today in their work to bring down the Iraq war and to attack our president, and they have found their way into our schools. William Ayers is a good example of that.
Thank God, today, we have a strong generation of young soldiers who know exactly who they are and what they must do to protect our freedom and our democracy. And we have the leadership of Gen. David Petraeus, who has brought hope and stability to Iraq and prevented the terrorists from establishing a base in that country. Our soldiers are lifting us to an example of patriotism at a time when we've almost forgotten who we are and what is at stake.
If Mr. Obama had his way, he would have pulled our troops from Iraq years ago and initiated an unprecedented bloodbath, turning over that country to the barbarianism of our enemies. With what he has openly stated about his plans for our military, and his lack of understanding about the true nature of our enemies, there's not a cell in my body that can accept the idea that Mr. Obama can keep us safe from the terrorists around the world, and from Iran, which is making great strides toward getting the atomic bomb. And while a misleading portrait of Mr. Obama is being perpetrated by a media controlled by the Democrats, the Obama camp has sent out people to attack the greatness of Sen. John McCain, whose suffering and courage in a Hanoi prison camp is an American legend.
Gen. Wesley Clark, who himself has shame upon him, having been relieved of his command, has done their bidding and become a lying fool in his need to demean a fellow soldier and a true hero.
This is a perilous time, and more than ever, the world needs a united and strong America. If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.
