Earlier passenger equipment (mostly wood) will not be covered here.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="font-size: 15px"><span style="color: #336600">1947 saw the delivery of the "Postwar Edition" of the Empire Builder from American Car & Foundry on which the orange/green/gold stripe scheme first appeared.
