working on vacation pay rate?

Yes its time and half for all hours. It used to be against the contract but no longer. We have a signup sheet posted and if anybody wants to work their vacation they can.
 
Since when? Is this new? If not my building has been violating it for years.
If you want to be paid out for up to three weeks of your vacation you need to designate it that way when you pick. You will then be paid out for said weeks after Christmas. If that's not the case it's a violation of the contract and should be grieved. I filed on it and it was stopped.

Straight pay here. Any drivers with a bid route who work their vacations can be bumped of their bid route. They essentially become swing drivers for the week. People rarely work their vacations here though.
