hey I've been a sorter here in Salt Lake city for a little over a year now, and the wait to be a driver is 5 years (or so they say). Anyone know anywhere else where the wait is a lot less?

hey guys i just got hired the last week of august as a package handler and i havent made book and i wont until next year. i over heard guys in my center that there will be a new contract being issued next year does any one nows where can i read about this online or can any one give me some info about it. is going to to be worst then the previous one since it takes longer to make book or even have any medical coverage.

When I started cover driving a year later, it was explained to me how the pension worked for part time employees. If we worked 1500 hrs in a years time, we would receive a full years credit or 12 points. For all hours less than 1500, we would get credit appropriate for the hours worked. Now I know alot of you guys like me dont like talking about peak season but its around the corner about 3 months left well maybe a little sooner cause it starts about thanksgiving for us but what do you guys think on how its going to go? good? bad? the economy was pretty bad around this time last year and now has some what picked up and they been saying since it picked up that this season should be worse then last, but what are you guys going to try and change to get through it without slowing down?...
