I have a question about Air drivers that make drop box pick ups. I am an article 22.3 air driver. Sometimes I will pick up ground pkgs. and get paid regular Package car driver pay. Two drop boxes were added to my route. When I picked up ground packages out of these boxes, I was told that I could not get Package car driver pay for these boxes. What is the difference? Has anyone delt with this?
I recently had a center level hearing about the 3 10 min breaks we are allowed by contract in the west(it deadlocked). Contract clearly states that your 1st is to be taken in the 1st half of your 3rd hr, 2nd by the 1st half of your 7th hr & the 3rd w/ in 3hrs of that. UPS states that they did not mean for the contract to say that even though thats exactly what it says. They state that its supposed to mean you get your 3rd break 3hrs after your 2nd wich they state is after 7:50pm w/ a start time ...

I saw a driver once coming inside the doctors office I came out of(im not a driver but I was wearing my UPS hat) he had a packege so I held the door for him to come in but I guess he was having a bad day or something and he replyed with, I could have opend the door myself I dont need a UPS guy opening sh**t for me, so I told him, your just mad cause you couldnt make it as a UPS driver so you went to fedex, and boy did he ...

I'm 20yrs old i've been at UPS for about a year and ahalf now my goal of course is to be a driver I just wanted to know some of the pros and cons of driving it doesnt matter what it is I would just like to know. and oh yea GO COWBOYS!
