I was placed on the "no rehire list" over 10 years ago while I was still in high-school. I think I may have worked with UPS for 3 months? Recently I was hired on at one of the logistic branches and the following day I was canceled because they found my name on this "no rehire list". Is there anything I can do? I have a great work history and I believe a bright future with UPS if I can get back in.
Has anyone else been terminated for stopping to use the bathroom. We had a driver 2 weeks ago teminated for stealing time from the company when they stopped to use restroom. Do the rest of you drivers have a toliet mounted in your package car? I not sure what or when the company has the right to tell people when they can use the restroom. Does anyone have any suggestions on alternatives to the Aetna PPO that mgt employees currently have? The sign up period is coming and I and many of my mgt counterparts have found ourselves paying a LOT more than last year with the Aetna HMO. Any suggestions would be appreciated! thx

In recent years the volume that is being delivered to the post office has increased substantially. If your in a zip code area that is normally serviced by multiple UPS trucks and it only has one post office, think about it. Those 60-70 pieces or more that your delivering to the local post office could be another trip in that zip code area, or could be work that those multiple trucks currently deliver are losing(trips cut).
