    Tonight is Game 3 Celtics/Magic.
Upstate, sounds like going to see Star Trek would be the perfect diversion for you. Take your mind off things. Hope you enjoy it and since you aren't a 'trekkie' please give me a review. I am truly anticipating seeing it. I loved all the movies and have been waiting for this one. If I get a rave review from an 'outsider' then I know the wait will have been worth it. If it is an ok review, then it will still be good.

PS, I am sorry that Mother's Day is a bad day for you.

Not sure. This is an INTENSE HIGH ACTION movie front to back. The "hero" is beaten and bloodied alot.
Been a while since I had an 8 year old....!

    That too.

You do not have to be a Trekkie (or a Trekker, like me) to see and enjoy this movie. It stands alone (but there are many inside stuff you will hear the Trekkies laughing at!)

And Simon Pegg was the perfect man for Scotty. If you don't know who Simon Pegg is, check out Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Both great movies.

Just watched the Benjamin Button movie and I liked it! Strange situation, aging backwards.

We watched Quantum of Solice last night. I think that is the best Bond movie I have seen. I am finally warming up to Daniel Craig. He brings an intensity to Bond that few others have been able to. Excellent movie.

He was also excellent in the movie in which he, along with his brother, helped the Jews escape from the Nazis (I can't recall the name of the movie off-hand).
    Anyone can Google.

I believe the movie you are thinking of is Defiance. I haven't seen it yet but it does look good.

I agree 100%. I always hated Roger Moore, thought he was the worst Bond.

Timothy Dalton was a great Bond for the reason you mentioned, and Pierce Brosnan was very good.

Many people say Sean Connery was the best. I like him, but...

George Lazenby is almost forgettable, as he was only n one.

Now you all know my favorite movies are Star Trek and Bond!
