Ok I went to the Pro Current Government web site to see what they said. hmmmmmm interesting.

Contempt: Now what? - First Read

This case was NEVER about getting to the truth, and its always been to make it political theatre just before the elections. The outcome which was ALWAYS predetermined was to get the contempt citation as there was really nothing in the case to find out. For months, hearing after hearing and 80 thousand pages later and ISSA has NOTHING to show for the hearings but a partisan vote for contempt.

It will be a real test to see if they can get a majority in the house as many republicans have said they dont believe this is the right thing to do.

Political theatre is all ISSA has to show for his efforts.

EVEN if the house does vote for contempt, nothing will happen. The system is too complicated for any prosecutions.

Like I said earlier, case closed. ISSA's hearings to nowhere will get off the air now.

Just learning about it as it goes along. I did read that both Obama as a senator and Harry Reid described Bush as King George when he used executive prvilege.


I suppose if we say "King Obama"... that would be racist. According to Janean Garafalo on Joy Behar's new program on Current TV.....to criticize Bush is acceptable, but to criticize Obama is racist. She's a nut like Maher,
