Harsh as it may seem, I am so past her death already. This whole outpouring of emotion over a woman who last week was viewed as a has been, seems sickeningly nostalgic.

Who out there doesn't know that alcohol & drugs mixed can be fatal??
I would agree the probability of prescib. meds and alcohol played a role but the post above provokes a thought. Had Whitney died as a result of purchasing an illegal substance from a street corner dealer, the cry of public outrage would likely be deafening. With an election year, you'd hear the political moralist proclaiming the need for more gov't and more police action on the streets and the public would need to accept the surrender of liberties in order to obtain a higher degree of state safety that only the sate can provide. And most would blindly accept that as true.

However, if the scenario Moreluck painted holds true, will there be the same outcry against those who provided Whitney (big pharma, alcohol industry, regulatory state) the means or will we just bash Whitney as being irresponsible (and she was) and the lone guilty in this scenario? If the state's purpose in existing is to protect the citizens from harm, why does it suppress one form of drug dealing while allowing yeah even subsidizing the other (being just as dangerous if not moreso) when in both cases the outcomes can be exactly the same?

The difference is that prescription drugs are largely safe if taken as prescribed. Crack, heroine, etc. bought in the back alley are not and the prescribed dosage is as much as you have money for.. Phama companies work steadily to make existing drugs safer for the consumers, meth labs just want to find a way to make them faster and in higher quantities.

Actually, I knew something like this would be out there. Just wanted to show that the conspiracy theories are never ending.

I really dislike the way prescription painkillers are taken to task, because people who abuse them die, when they should not have had them. How do they get them? if they get them illegally, is that the fault of prescribers?
They need to take the euphoria affect out of them.
There are people with chronic pain who need them to live comfortably, and the yahoos abusing them cause those people to be treated like crack whores.

I agree. I was over it the minute I heard it and knew it would overshadow everything else going on that really matters.
just like Michael jacksons death did.
Actually it was a suicide, if it were drugs and alcohol. it was her choice to be a drug addict. All the fame looks and money, was not enough. Wahh....

Yes I was trying to refer to that, but I still cannot define Illuminati. It can be this 5th or 4th dimension entities like reptiles or someone calls them demons that likes (mass)negative energy in certain dates. MJ's daughter drawing really looked like aliens from few weeks ago. But I can't believe people still buy into this suicide stuff with celebrities. It's impossible that certain people doing it in exact dates, time and never got caught with it. Cops will just say she overdosed herself, or her doctor did it. After that they come out and sell record number of music CDs from her.

To the horror of the survivors of fallen heroes, New Jersey Governor Chris “Crispy Cream” Christie decreed that flags be flown at half staff in his state today in honor of a drug-addicted pop star evidently done in by her degenerate lifestyle. It’s an apparent effort to pander to black voters, in hopes of getting more than 5% of them not to vote socialist.
Christie even had a special Whitney Houston flagpole created.
