Just got hired on as part time dock worker at the Kansas city ks hub, can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to make full time, also I was told I would have to have a CDL license before they would even consider making a part time employee full time, is this true? Thanks for any advise

Is there anyway to become a package driver while working on the freight side, I just got hired as part time dock worker, if I go full time can I transfer to the parcel side?

No--they are separate divisions within UPS.
