Actually I just started today at FedEx and I asked the manager if I could attend the orientation tomorrow for this seasonal UPS delivery helper position and he said yes because the FedEx position is only part time.

I don't think full time or part time has anything to do with it.From what I understand you are not allowed to work for the competition and if you get caught you have 2 weeks to quit that other job.

I would have nothing to hide because I asked the FedEx manager if I could do that UPS seasonal position and he said yes because the FedEx position I currently work at is only part time. However I may not even go to the orientation.
