UPS plans new Puerto Rico facility - Atlanta Business Chronicle
United Parcel Service Inc. will open a facility in early 2009 in Peurto Rico to handle temperature sensitive health-care shipments.

UPS (NYSE: UPS) said the 150,000-square-foot facility in San Juan will store medical devices and sensitive and perishable pharmaceutical and biotech products before being shipped throughout the world. The new facility will help it better serve health-care companies in the United States, European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean, UPS added.
