In deep of night, UPS' Bridgewater plant is hub of activity - My Central Jersey
While most people in and around Bridgewater are asleep at night, the United Parcel Service hub on Chimney Rock Road at 4 a.m. starts preloading a fleet of trucks that will carry about 55,000 packages every day to a number of Central Jersey communities.
In fact, by the time a fleet of UPS trucks takes over traffic along Chimney Rock and Foothill roads during each weekday's morning-commute rush hour, some workers inside the hub have wrapped up the hub's first work shift of the day and gotten a physical workout that would easily rival any gym program.
