UPS Board Declares Dividend - Smart Money
The UPS (NYSE:UPS) Board of Directors today declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share on all outstanding Class A and Class B shares.

The dividend is payable June 3, 2009, to shareholders of record on May 18, 2009. UPS has either increased or maintained its dividend every year for four decades.

The fact that UPS has either sustained or increased its' shareholders dividend each year for the past 40 years and especially in light of this tough economy should send a clear signal to investors and employees that UPS is a solid company, well positioned and diversified, with the ability to weather any financial challenges which may present themselves.
