UPS Inc., the world's largest shipping carrier, spent more than $1.4 million in the second quarter to lobby on Federal Aviation Administration reauthorization, aviation technology and safety, and competition issues, according to a recent disclosure form.

UPS spent more than $1.3 million lobbying the federal government in the first quarter and more than $5 million lobbying the federal government last year.

Aren't they suppose to be working for us anyway?
Why should we, or anyone else, have to pay extra for them to do their job?
Wasted money burns my behind.
I don't mind paying taxes; I do, however, mind that my tax money is wasted.
